Nana Tuhufo Quagraine (Mr.) is a distinguished library and information science professional with extensive experience in academic librarianship, library automation, policy development, and ICT-driven knowledge services. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of Library and Information Services at the Parliamentary Service of Ghana.
Mr. Quagraine has served CARLIGH in several pivotal leadership capacities. He was Secretary of the Management Committee (2020–2022) and currently serves as the Treasurer. He is also an active member of the ICT Sub-Committee, contributing to the advancement of digital initiatives across member institutions. His commitment to CARLIGH’s growth and visibility was also evident in his role as Chair of the Publicity Sub-Committee for both the 3rd and 4th CARLIGH International Conferences, where he provided strategic communications leadership and media engagement.
Academically, Mr. Quagraine holds an MPhil in Information Studies from the University of Ghana and is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Science at the University of South Africa. He is a published author and conference speaker with research interests in technological trends in academic libraries, marketing of library services, and scholarly communication.
A Chartered Member of the Ghana Library Association, Mr. Quagraine brings to CARLIGH a blend of strategic insight, innovation, and deep sectoral knowledge that supports the consortium’s mission to enhance resource sharing, capacity building, and collaborative research across academic and research libraries in Ghana.
